StackBlitz is a company specializing in creating innovative tools for developers, allowing them to code and deploy projects directly from a browser. Their platform offers a seamless development experience.Recently, their flagship product, Bolt, was launched, which is revolutionizing how applications are developed online by allowing users to create web projects via a LLM (conversational AI).As part of my collaboration with StackBlitz, I had the opportunity to work on several projects across various areas:
I worked on the UI design for the marketing pages of the main site, stackblitz.com, as well as for TutorialKit and Bolt, other projects made by StackBlitz. The challenge was to ensure that the interface reflected the innovation and ease of use of the products, while maximizing the visual impact to attract and engage visitors. For me, the level of detail and production of the marketing pages must reflect the quality of the product being showcased.
I also created the user interface for Bolt in collaboration with the development team, optimizing navigation and interactions to provide developers with a smooth experience while enhancing their productivity. The challenge here was twofold: to offer an interface that aligns with conversational AI standards (like ChatGPT, Claude, etc.), while demonstrating that Bolt goes further and enables users to achieve more than what is currently offered on the market.
For Bolt, I also handled the visual identity (brand guidelines, logo). This is also work I have done for all of StackBlitz's products over time to bring greater consistency across their product ecosystem.The main challenges of these projects were illustrating abstract concepts, such as coding and software development, in a clear and engaging way. It was essential to energize the brand to make it more appealing by infusing a modern and energetic visual personality that resonates with the developer community.
